We started this episode with Danielle telling Jenna she was in the red, mainly for her attitude. After her reaction: (What!!!I Don’t have any %*$&*# attitude)...

...and a whole lot of tears, it was decided that Jenna had one last chance. We cut to dinner, where Jenna and Heidi, (the blond and the blonder), sit by themselves and make fun of the whole “positive attitude”. Because that was SO different from before.
We then learn that this week, for the challenge, the girls will be teaching local kids how to surf. Molli, Jen, Robyn and the others rise to the challenge, while others like Vivian spend the whole time looking like a deer caught in the headlights. This showed, because when Vivian took her girl out in the surf, they both bit the big one. Too bad Danielle and the judges notice this as well. I can see the colors changing.
For this week’s competition, we learn that the girls will be “towed-out”. I think that was what it was called. I got so distracted that they actually showed Kula talking, I missed that part. Jenna, with all of her positive attitude, goes first, and manages to do a whole lot of nothing with her waves. We see Mary struggling as she surfs, and April becoming way too excited about her fall, but more about that later. One by one the girls go out, and to everyone’s surprise, Robyn is the winner.
For tonight’s “Round 2” of the drama, we see April talking with Molli and Robyn. April just can’t understand why people think she is such a wave hog. Just a thought, maybe it was the time she had a DQ for dropping in on another’s girl wave. She can’t see why Mary and Vivian are so mean to her, and after some good coaching and egging on, she decides to go talk it all out. She hunts Mary and Vivian down, telling them that the “other girls” said she wasn’t a wave hog, and she just wants to clear the energy. Mary pretty much tells her the other girls are wrong, she is a wave hog, and there is nothing else to be said. Some more tears are shed on the subject, and the girls then retire ot the room.
We’re then privileged to the “judge’s meeting” but now, we get to see what they say about all the girls. One of the first things out of the judge’s mouth is the wave hog that April is, but it must have not too bad, because she moves up to the green. Heidi, (who really, we’ve seen for like 5 seconds this whole episode) is ranked to the yellow, for doing OK. Robyn gets to join Heidi in the yellow, which really is a great reward for winning the competition. They then rank the last few girls, who we haven’t seen the whole time anyway) and we are left with Jenna and Vivian in the red. They feel that Jenna hasn’t given enough to her change for the better (who could tell?) and Vivian doesn’t give anything to the competition. We’re given one more twist, as the judges suggest that the only way to decide who is getting let go is through a surf off. So next week, we get to see who this will be a “kick in the pants for.”
