I was not fortunate enough to catch the first episode on August 28th, but it was not hard to get into the groove of the action, which was predictable.



Last week, the couples signed up to test their commitments, parting ways to each of their own islands. Enter the Temptations!!!!!!!! and no they don't sing and dance for a living...at least not all of them. The show ended with the boyfriends and girlfriends eliminating who they felt most threatened by. Well, as with all reality shows........there was a twist. Those eliminated were brought back to be the FIRST DATES.... here we go....on the rollercoaster ride...down down down we go......

This is where we pick up episode two. The show focused on the friction between Jason(a boyfriend with some serious tattoo's), and a suitor Jeff? While those two may have a problem, Jason's long time girlfriend Kara apparently thinks both are cool, and went out on her first date with Jeff. Needless to say they "connected" and had a great time on the water and afterwards in her "hut".

The other couples seemed to enjoy their dates... ( names will become familiar in the weeks ahead:) )....with the exception of Jason. He hated the food, the water....he said it smelled "fishy", and was bored silly with his date. It reminded me of high school, no better yet pre school!

At the end of the evening, the boyfriends and girlfriends were forced to come to terms with there good times at bon fire. Every girlfriend, with the exception of the very curly blonde, decided to view the tapes of there boyfriend's first dates. What an "emotional rollercoaster" ride that was. I guess they learned, again...that boys will be boys when given the opportunity.

Now onto the male bonfire....each boyfriend, with the exception of the high spirited sandy haired guy, decided to watch. Actually, if their girlfriends watched they HAD to.....this has the cruel markings of Survivor:) AGAIN, another fast "emotional rollercoaster" ride. The first boyfriend, with a short short haircut, dark in nature, felt sick watching his girlfriend on the shoulders of another guy, and holding hands. Later with the fella's,he was livid at her "illegal behavior!!!! ",other guys were not as shocked but appeared concerned and their ego's a bit shaken. I guess they learned again, that girls just want have fun when given the opportunity!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
