Episode Five was two hours long and took me two days to watch, however the activities of both islands was just what I thought: predictable.

Both camps went on third dates instead of running down endless hours of banana boat rides and tree gliding, I'll get right to the main action.

There was a serious confrontation at the Male camp between Jason and Sandra. For some reason, Sandra has been jealous of all the attention Mike has been giving Tiffany. In addition, it is stated that she communicated this on tape and it could have gotten back to Mike's girlfriend Melissa. Mike is very sensitive about this, but Jason, temper and all snaps at her before they all sit down to dinner. It was a very angry and threatening side of him that stunned the entire table. He told Ms. Sandra to pack her bags literally, as a "vote off" was coming. Sandra sat shocked and felt very disrespected by his actions. The guys, however are on Jason's side. Mike, Eric and Anthony all seem to think Sandra is a gossip and "drama queen", and must go. Later at "vote off" she goes home somewhat stronger than before. She has nothing but disgust for Jason and feels she did nothing wrong to Mike.

Over at the female camp... well let the fireworks begin. There is a huge confrontation between Melissa and Kristen. Following a social gathering with the available men, Kristen confronts Melissa about her affections for Jerome. It is clear that all the ladies, Kara, Melissa, and Kristen want him GONE. They don't like him. Melissa states, Jerome is there for her experience and that Kristen should shut up and stay out of her business. It gets even more intense with name calling. At one point Melissa walks inside and tells Kristen that if she does NOT shut up she will "strangle her"... this goes on and on... I am not sure who finally gets tired and goes to bed. As a result the two are civil but not speaking. Hey I thought they were supposed to be supporting each other in this?

Melissa states Jerome is a TOTALLY different person when she is alone with him. The mirror has two faces I guess?

What are the other thinking? Well while getting her toes done, Kara is beginning to wonder is she should work on herself first, instead of being in a relationship.

Melissa has "feelings" for Jerome and wants to explore them.

Kristen is still in denial about this whole experience. This is just a vacation for her. No soul searching or decision making involved.

Stephanie is in turmoil. She has made a "connection" with Jeff, who has previously made a "connection" with Kara just a week ago? Who is this guy? Kara seems to take it well, but it is a bit much for Stephanie who ask him to back off. She has a boyfriend of three years to think about, and this is too much for her. She is confused. About what? You've only seen this guy for one date? Do you know who he really is??

Bonfire was most painful to watch. Again Kristen and Mike refuse to let their emotions into the game, therefore there is nothing to watch that could cause alarm.
