For all of you American Idol 3 fans here I am to recap this week shows if ou happened to miss out. This week the category was the ever so dreaded ountry. Some were as country as it comes and others were just horribly ad.

First up was the young but talented Diana DeGarmo who sang "A Broken Wing" by Martina McBride. This balled helped show her versatility. Every note seemed to be pitch perfect and indeed took my breath away, especially at the end when she held that note for so long. She had just proven she can handle anything American Idol throws at her. Good Job.

Next was George Huff who sang "I Can Love You Like that" by John Michael Montgomery. I don't know how this song is established as country but he sang his heart out. It isn't the most exciting song but he did it make it somewhat upbeat with his strong voice. Not his best performance but pretty strong.

Fantasia Barrino was up next, singing "Always On My Mind" by Willie Nelson. When she started singing you were actually kind of shocked that it wasn't going along strong because this is Fantasia we are talking about here. First getting to the chorus though, you noticed she started going strong and became unstoppable. She went on and finished the song like their was nothing to it.

Now we have John Stevens who sang "King Of The Road" by Roger Miller. I don't know how this guy made top 12 and his performance was completely boring. He didn't even sing it like it was country and he still didn't sing it well. I have no further comment on this guy.

Camille Velasco, the pretty girl from Hawaii is up next. She sang "Desperado" by The Eagles. This is by far a great song and I was pleased someone picked it. She still looks completely terrified like someone is going to come on stage and kill her. The poor girl needs to smile and she might have a chance for this song. She seemed to have a hld on her voice throughout the song but it was little flat.

Next up is "No One Else On Earth" originally sang by Winona Judd and who else picks this song but Jennifer Hudson. First the thing that shocked me was she had STRAIGHT hair. At the beginning she was a little breathy and pitchy but towards the bridge she got strong and on key. She is greatly in tune from chorus and so on. I don't know if it's good enough to top some others but it was indeed good.
