This was a good episode, but I disagree with Trump’s decisions. I think Troy and Amy are more deserving of being in the final two. I didn’t like the idea of eliminating half of the four finalists based on interviews. These interviews were conducted by newcomers with little idea of the applicants past performance in previous challenges. They remind me of the efficiency expert hired in Office Space before the downsizing. He evaluates people’s careers based on a five minute interview.

They should have at least had George and Carolyn conduct the interviews since they have been there since day one. With these new stooges it is like the first 13 weeks of work don’t count for anything. All you have to do is get some of these fickle stooges to like you. The best way to determine a winner would be to do this Survivor style. They could have a jury of the 7 next best contestants decide who wins. I’d rather be judged by my peers and my boss instead of these 4 fossils.

Those stooges are the reason I hate interviewing. I hate interviews so much that even when I don’t like my job I stick with it instead of interviewing elsewhere. The worst of these four judges was the old lady. She is a mere secretary (executive assistant), yet she is deciding who should run one of Trump’s companies. This lady reminds me of that crazy juror in the Tyco trial. She didn’t like Amy because of Amy’s perfect teeth.

These workers may have all served Trump for 20 years, but I don’t see that as a positive. To me it means that they couldn’t get hired anywhere else. If they’ve been doing the same routine all these years, they have little transferable skills. I wouldn’t hire them.

I’ll admit that Amy had interviewed poorly, but the questions directed at her were all loaded. One guy wouldn’t respect her because she couldn’t run a construction site. What hurt her the most was when she turned against Nick. Trump was trying to force them into a romance that was never there.

I also thought Nick got a raw deal. While he would not be one of my top 4 choices, he had charisma. He also knew how to delegate and he won more often than not.

Bill is a good guy. But there was nothing outstanding about him. They just kept him because he is tall and looks like a CEO.
