So we get another serving of the Restaurant this week, and I somehow think it’s going to be nothing but Rocco and Jeffrey chicken fighting over who can do more for the place. But first, we get to listen to Carrie holding court with a group of the staff. Dude, if that girl worked as well as she talked, they would be in amazing shape. It seems like they have all taken Jeffrey’s side, because Rocco is never around. Uzay says it best—Jeffrey does things a certain way to make a restaurant successful, and that formula didn’t happen at Rocco’s. And now Jeffrey wants to fix it.

His first fixing comes with Luke, the corporate chief who Jeffrey has brought it. He tells Momma he’s not there to cook, only watch. So why is he there? He pokes around some more, but really it looks like he’s making people uncomfortable. He talks with Robert about what the dishwashers make. Robert has no idea, and Luke tells him he should. Dude, if the dishes are clean, what matter about how much they make. I like a restaurant that has clean dishes.

We then go upstairs, where Drew “I’m only here to watch” is pissing people off right and left. He starts listing off things he wants to change, and none of it is any good. So why not go and piss of Mamma next. Drew runs into her, and give this whole I need respect to give respect line, and Mamma totally writes him off. As she should, because all I want to do is smack him.

So the staff all meets with Sarah, another one of the “crew” but seems much more normal than Drew. She’s looking for input, and let me tell you, I was not surprised when Carrie started in. Uzay was the only one who asked a normal question, what the focus was the restaurant was. This then led into on of the more cheesy corporate cheerleading talks.

And in the middle of all of this, we get to meet Matt, the new bartender. One look, and I can tell he’s going to be trouble. None of the other bartenders seem to like him, and he’s just told to “observe” on the first night. Hope he doesn’t observe like Drew. Drew, what a charmer. He has taken himself and planted right at the hostess station, where the poor girl looks like she wants to beat him down. Funny how that most people get that look after 5 seconds with Drew. He then gives some analogy of how he is the Tiger Woods of the Restaurant business, and I think something happened after that, but it took me a few minutes to get over laughing at him. That’s right, Tony came up from the kitchen to talk to Jeffery, basically to tell him to keep all the drama out of the kitchen.
