Well, the Restaurant is back this week, and when we last left them Jeffrey has issued this ultimatum to Rocco about wanting to be committed to the place. Don’t worry; by the end of this episode, we are no closer to figuring this out.

I don’t think any of the million of viewers were surprised to see this one start with Carrie bitching about something. Really, do they pay this girl for working? The annoying thing is that it’s the same thing she is complaining about—Rocco not there, and Jeffrey being lame as well. I think she said more, but after the first minute, I totally tuned it out.

Cut to Rocco in his apartment, talking to his girlfriend about everything happening. Then we get to see Jeffrey starting to line up new chiefs for the place, as he talks with Ralph. Ralph, like the new bartender, is a pretty boy. But if he kicks out Rocco, won’t the name if the place change—and really, if I wanted to eat at Ralph’s, I’d go find a cheap diner.

None the less, Rocco goes to hang out with Mamma, and they watch the video from when he graduated from the CIA, or Culinary Institute of America. Apparently, he is going to go up there for graduation, as he is the speaker. And they are going to honor Mamma for everything she has been doing recently. Somehow, I think this is going to piss off Jeffery. Rocco talks with Mamma about it all, and leaves with a better attitude about working this all out. So he calls Jeffery, they talk about going to talk to the staff together, and somehow I think it’s not that easy. Because Ralph is going to cook a trial meal for Jeffery and crew.

So Jeffrey shows up to talk to the staff the next day, and Rocco is no where. Rocco has gone of to the CIA, where there is some sort of competition for the grads, and the winner gets a chance to work in his restaurant. Jeffery, in the mean time, addresses the staff and says that Rocco is not the owner of the place, he is. They talk about changing the silverware, uniforms, and he tries to give some sort of inspirational talk, but it does not seem to do much good.

Switch the Emily addressing the staff, that they have a lot more guests coming in tonight. She also tells everyone to get their stuff out of coat check, and really, personal items should not be in there. And wait, there’s Carrie to talk some more, all about Emily and how mean she is. You know, she’s stuck dealing with you freaks all night—and does well with it. I would SO like to see Carrie try and do this. We then meet Amanda, who is training at the desk with Emily. She screws up a simple thing, and Emily gets pissed at her for it. Later, it looks like Amanda is a bit upset, and it doesn’t help that she can’t even say goodbye to customers. Amanda then goes running to Shane to complain about Emily. I was more shocked to not see Carrie at all in these scenes.
