After being nominated for eviction by Diane Henry, the fourth Head of Household, Scott Long was evicted last night from the Big Brother 5 house by his fellow HouseGuests.

On Tuesday, Jase Wiley won the Power of Veto and took himself off the block. Diane then chose to put Marvin Latimer on the block in Jase’s place.

Scott received four votes for eviction from HouseGuests Jennifer Dedmon, Karen O’Neil Ganci, Adria Klein (aka Adria Okins) and Will Wikle. Jase Wiley, Drew Daniels and Michael Ellis voted to keep the fourth member of The Four Horseman in the house. Diane was ineligible to vote as Head of Household unless there was a tie.

During last night's live broadcast, the sales representative from Pittsburgh, Penn., learned his fate, said his good-byes and left the house. After leaving Big Brother 5, Scott was interviewed by Julie Chen about his experience.

After the eviction, Julie revealed the twin twist to the HouseGuests Adria has been switching places every three days with her twin sister, Natalie. Julie then announced that Natalie will now join the game as an individual player competing for the $500,000.

The HouseGuests, including Natalie, then competed in a competition called “Home Is Where The Answer Is” to see who would become the next Head of Household. Jennifer (aka Nicomus), the 21-year-old single restaurant hostess from San Antonio, TX, won the coveted position.

Each Thursday, the HouseGuests compete to become Head of Household. The perks of the position include having a luxurious private bedroom stocked with favorite foods and use of the new plasma screen to spy on the other HouseGuests, but it also includes the responsibility of having to nominate two fellow housemates for eviction. However, one of the nominees can be saved from the chopping block if they or another housemate wins the Power of Veto competition and chooses to save one of the nominees while giving themselves immunity from nomination. If they choose to use the veto, the Head of Household must immediately choose another nominee.
