Jonathan’s product woes continue to escalate as he discusses packaging ideas with the female VPs and the fiery Scott, who just does not know when to back down. Scott, who is in charge of designing the containers of Jonathan’s product, arrives forty-five minutes late to the salon, and also tells Jonathan that his “existing stuff looks like S---!”

After a heated exchange, Jonathan orders the off-color Scott to leave his salon and proceeds to punch the wall. The trouble all began last episode when the female VPs were kicked out of Jonathan’s West Hollywood office because of “space issues.” The girls seemed to be over their tiff, but Scott is not able to move on. Scott then spitefully presents Jonathan with a few bottle choices for his upcoming product, complete with attitude and fire. The insulted Jonathan then proceeds to take Scott outside for a typical “man to man” chat that quickly escalates into a screaming fest. Scott and the VPs leave, aggravated, but clearly not as irritated as Jonathan.

As if smoothing out the creation of his own product was not enough, Jonathan is also planning a class for his assistants and a showcase appropriately titled “Feeling It.” At the class, Jonathan has his assistants mimic his signature “long-laired” hair cut. While Scott (not the wise guy Sales Rep., the bubbly, effeminate assistant that works at Beverly Hills) has no problem creating a replica of the classic Jonathan do, Edward, the more experienced assistant, struggles. Jonathan walks Edward through all the steps, but the veteran assistant has trouble focusing, so he steps out for a moment and calls his mother for advice and breaks down. After regaining his composure, Edward vies for some one-on-one time with Jonathan, but Jonathan does not grant his request and Edward is forced to finish his do.

As the stylists return from New York’s Fashion Week, Kimberly’s envy presents her with a decision: To stay at Beverly Hills, or not to stay at Beverly Hills? Kimberly and the other stylists bash Kiera for bringing her baby and beau with her to New York. Irritated, Kimberly’s jealousy is quelled when the intuitive Jonathan asks her to take over a photo shoot for him. Ecstatic, Kimberly accepts and styles three area disc jockey’s hair for an upcoming photo shoot.

Jonathan’s “Feeling It” turns into a Jason/Kiera showcase when he asks the two stylists to join him. Kiera adds extensions to a mundane do while Jason performs his classic razor cut (if you watched last season, you will remember that Jason does the same hair cut on that woman who works at the restaurant that the gang frequents.) As Jonathan performs the coveted “long-laired” cut, the group is applauded and Jonathan is joyful for once. He is even more jovial when he finds out that Jason has been using his product in New York and all of his clients love it. Amidst the warm and fuzzy feelings, Jonathan returns to therapy and discusses his fear of relationships.
