Several "Scholar" contestants set aside their personal opinions to engage in a tense debate on a topical, very controversial issue to secure the last remaining spot in the final round and an opportunity to win the grand prize of a full-ride scholarship, on "The Scholar," Monday, July 11 (8:00-9:00 p.m., ET) on ABC.
The ten contestants on "The Scholar" include:

Alyssa D., Yuba City, CA
Amari H., St. Charles, MO
Melissa H., Tarzana, CA
Davis L., Memphis, TN
Scot P., New Freedom, PA
Gerald T., Commerce, TX
Jeremy T., Westminster, CA

Milana Z., Fresh Meadows, NY
The grand prize, valued at up to $240,000, will be donated by The Broad Foundation. |
