Kiara ignites when Alyn tells her that he does not approve of her breastfeeding her baby girl in the break room. Stunned, Kiara tells Alyn to “Shut the f--- up,” and asks, “Would you rather see her starve?” Poor Alyn is only expressing what the entire salon has been saying behind Kiara’s punky, eclectic back for the past week. Kimberly, still sour about New York’s Fashion Week, is not afraid to speak her mind either, especially when Kiara shows up with her offspring at Scott’s cocktail party.

Georgia, Jonathan’s friend who is battling cancer, stops into the salon for a trim. Thankfully, she is finished with her treatments and is able to grow her hair. Jonathan gives her a fresh, pixie look and the other stylists (and I) are elated to see Georgia back. You are in our thoughts, Georgia!

Soap star Lisa Rinna stops in for a quick cut and a sassy dish of Jonathan when the temperamental stylist discusses his issue with the marketing team for his product. Apprehensive about another altercation, Jonathan calls Scott (from the product design firm) and un-invites him to the meeting. Alyn gets testy once more when he sees a group of stylists chatting at the front desk when one of his clients is supposed to pay. He confronts the stylists, but they do not seem to care, especially Scott.

Kiara adds sticks to the fire when she is late for work and asks Edward to mix her dye for her client who has been waiting for her arrival. Annie does not permit Edward to mix the colors, and Kiara is forced to explain herself when she makes her tardy appearance. Stating that she did not want to bring her baby out in the heavy rain, Kiara’s late accuse would score her a detention at any public high school and the other stylists feel the same way. At Scott’s cocktail party, Kimberly and Alyn question why Kiara brings her burpy baby. Scott, by the way, has a very trendy and surprisingly sophisticated studio apartment that is an urban oasis to the steamy, intolerable desert of a salon.

At the Jonathan Product meeting, Jonathan sees the latest prototype and is euphoric. Through the late nights and chaotic fights, the Jonathan’s hair care goods are finally ready for production. The jovial Jonathan even arranges a meeting with Scott and apologizes for any wrongdoing during the development process. Jonathan gets back in action is hired to create some dashing dos for a group of actresses at a photo shoot. The smooth, tranquil shoot is no indication what Jonathan will deal with in Las Vegas when he styles the Pussycat Dolls’ hair for opening night. His sister, Robin, is the creator of The Pussycat Dolls, and with such a talented family, I am sure that Mother Antin is very proud Stylist Michael shows up late because he is held up at the airport (allegedly for trying to bring his hair dye on the flight.) Jonathan is angered, but quickly regains his cool and brings the Dolls’ hair from dull dreads to lovely locks.
