One woman’s graduation is announced! Kim confesses to Iyanla that she never “got around” to an assignment she was given. Towanda finally agrees to contact an estranged family member. When Iyanla suggests that Jennifer should visit her incarcerated father, Jennifer must deal with the possibility of coming face to face with the man that abandoned her.

Tuesday, August 2, 2005 (Episode # 2049)
One of the housemates leaves the Starting Over house—in an ambulance. Iyanla drops the bomb on Kim and Jennifer with a very difficult and emotional assignment. Surprise guests come to visit and the women enjoy a night on the town.

Graduation day for one of the women! The youngest housemate, Chloe, gets a baby makeover. Kim anxiously prepares to meet her estranged sister while Jennifer must emotionally prepare herself to see her incarcerated father for the first time in years. Towanda experiences the ultimate rejection.

A new roommate arrives! Denise, the new girl in the house, comes clean about her “messy” past. Kim receives a very unexpected call that just may be the push she needs to help her graduate. An exercise challenges Sommer to take credit for the weight that she has lost. Cassie struggles with the bitter realization of all of the time that she was absent from her son's life.

One of the women threatens to leave the Starting Over house! She finds herself at a personal crossroads and must decide if she will stay or go. Iyanla works with Kim and Jennifer to explore their fears about an upcoming trip. Denise is overwhelmed by anger and sadness when she is confronted by exactly how bad she has allowed her problems to become.
