As the Rookies loose yet another mission, the Veterans relish in their latest win. Danny’s issues with Jodi penetrate through the Rookies’ quest for a win, and his teammates are less than thrilled.

Danny insists that Jodi still holds a grudge against him from their Road Rules days, which Jodi denies. It is disgustingly apparent that Danny is the one who has harsh feelings, mostly because he believes Jodi should of went home before him on their season of the show.

During a pyramid-style race, the Veterans cooperative skills and drive propel them to the finish line before the Rookies. The Rookies, disillusioned by the game, decide to give up and conserve their energy in case the Veterans fall during the last leg of the race, which does not occur. During the race, the Rookies become increasingly agitated with Danny, who does not listen to their instructions nor heeds their warnings. After their loss, Danny turns the constructive criticism into an attack on Jodi and explodes on her. The team is angered, and they send Danny to the Gauntlet with Alton, where he looses and must return home.
