While dancing the night away at a club, the Gauntlet Gang is disrupted when Jodi begins to hysterically cry. The Road Rules alum had a three week relationship with serial challenge contestant and dater Mark where two both said they loved one another and shared some tantalizing sexual encounters.

As Susie consoles the distraught Jodi in a bathroom stall, the conniving Beth listens and reports back to Robin, who is shocked to find out that Mark told Jodi he loved her. On the bus ride home, Robin and Mark ignite and Mark becomes violent and exits the bus. The guys try to give him some advice, and but he still does not realize that he has messed up big time. Jodi’s emotions towards the buff blonde are summarized in a single hand gesture that is blurred from the camera.

At the challenge, the Rookies try to collaborate on the most effective way to “sponge” off of one another during the sponge-squeezing challenge. The Veteran team struggles to communicate well, and things are heated up even more when the ridiculously sexual mission commences. A victory is easy for the Rookies to obtain, sending Ruthie and Jisela, who volunteers herself, to the Gauntlet. During the reverse tug of war, Ruthie makes mince meat of Jisela who is easily dragged across the sand. Saying goodbye to Jisela is difficult for Aneesa who vows to be brave and move forward with the challenge.

Later that night, while back at the club, Jodi and Robin call a truce and Robin reclaims her man on the dance floor later that evening.
