CBS yesterday announced the identities of the 11 Teams set to compete in The Amazing Race 9. The three-time Emmy Award-winning reality adventure series returns to its international format where teams of two will travel to exotic locations, spanning five continents, with stops in the Middle East, Moscow and Sicily, to name a few.

The 11 teams will compete against one another in a race around the world for a $1 million prize. The Amazing Race 9 will begin with a special two-hour premiere on Tuesday, Feb. 28 (9:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. The Amazing Race will be broadcast regularly on Tuesdays (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) beginning March 7.
