As the men on each side anticipate the final guys’ gauntlet, the Veteran girls know that the best way to a man’s heart is through his stomach. With a plate full of chocolate chip cookies, the girls offer encouragement to their knights in shining armor, but the delicious delectables do little to decrease their anxiety.

In the mission, each team must take a bike apart, put it back together, and then race it. David, who does little more than jog, slows his team down. The Rookies, with a team full of hard workers and skilled athletes, easily beats the Veterans. Derrick is very agitated that he must now enter the gauntlet.

During the Veteran deliberation, Derrick prompts his teammates to write down names in order to vote while Timmy disagrees, believing that he will be the one to enter the gauntlet. Derrick becomes increasingly agitated and begins to stomp a wooden table. While throwing his mild temper tantrum, Timmy elects himself into the gauntlet and the two face off in a reverse tug-of-war, where the winner was not yet determined at the conclusion of the episode. Will Derrick be able to use his harsh feelings to overpower Timmy? We will find out next week.
