Wow! All I can say is wow! This episode was full of full of surprises, which led us to learn a lot about a particular roommate.

The drama begins from the very beginning when John criticizes Svetlana about being with her boyfriend Martin for so long. This causes Svetlana to whine and complain to Paula about how people always bash her and her boyfriend. Svetlana decides to call Martin and discuss their relationship as it stands. Everything about that conversation went well, nothing out of the ordinary. We learn that she does not feel protected by Martin. More to come on this shortly.
Also, Zach befriends the bartender of Irish Kevin’s named Crystal. He is so happy to finally have made a friend in Key West and will have someone to hang out with the four months that he is there. He decides to invite her over to fish. This does not sit well with Svetlana as she complains, “This is my house and I don’t want anybody in it!” Last time I checked, there were seven people in the house so they can invite whomever they want over when they want. Svetlana calls Martin back and this was not the most average of conversations to say the least. A giant fight breaks out over how nothing will change when she gets back from the show. Vulgar name calling was used and the conversation consisted of mostly “Bleeps.” This always makes for some good drama.
After the commercial, Tyler tells Svetlana that she needs to do something about Martin because he will never end their relationship. The roommates decide to go out for the night to the The Lazy Gecko. Svetlana loosens up and feels as if she is finally free from the bonds of Martin. She even dances on the bar and becomes over flirtatious with John. When the cast arrives home, Svetlana and John have a Heart to Heart. John learns the Svetlana feels insecure and unprotected by Martin because he allowed one of his friends to slap her across the face and did nothing about it. John also learns that her first boyfriend raped her and again Martin did nothing about this either. This causes John to change his feelings for Svetlana. He know feels as if he needs to protect her and look after her like he is his little sister. Lastly, Svetlana and Martin reconcile their differences as they both vow that they love each other at the end of the episode.
All in all a great episode. Good drama and a lot of fighting! Looking for an equally as good one in the near future.
