The computers were shutting down. They were lucky to book a flight.

2. The German drivers drove up to a 170 (one seventy) kilometer speed.
Then turned the car onto a high embankment. Thrills were guaranteed!
It was called the "Wall of Death."
We know some teams held their breath.
It was the best part of their Race, Wanda and Desiree agreed.
3. The Mercedes Benz test drive was an exhilarating ride.
We saw Joseph's amazement from a close-up camera inside.
It's a good thing they had drivers to stay in their lane.
And Lori said, "It's a good thing we didn't eat on the train!"
They all seemed to love it. Nobody appeared petrified.
4. They climb into their own cars and drive 200 miles away.
They're looking for Bad Tolz where there are gnome boots and hats on display.
One team member has to find a Travelocity gnome.
They're hiding in the farmer's field. They have to bring one home.
Lake picks up a local drunk who he thinks will show him the way.
5. Fran and Barry think, "In a car, with a map, we can hit our stride."
Over the years, they've done it, and they have traveled worldwide.
Wanda and Desiree take the wrong exit twice and get lost.
Dani and Danielle follow them, and it came at a cost.
They were so late it's dark at the Bavarian countryside.
6. There are 150 spots hiding eleven gnomes. They have to find just one.
Some teams use searching strategies- with patterns, or just boots. Do we think they're having fun?
Eric imitates the Travelocity Gnome's voice.
And Desiree searches in the dark without a choice.
Wanda and Desiree are frustrated. They think that today their Race will be done.
7. The teams wear Hansel and Gretel costumes to do "Slap it" or "Break it."
The slap dance is hard for Fran and Barry, so they just have to fake it.
Four teams find the smashed bottle label clue.
The rest all learned dancing before they were through.
But Wanda and Desiree had bad luck driving and just can't shake it.
8. Two of the six teams got frustrated smashing bottles on their head(s).
So Ray, Yolanda, and Team Mojo, went "Slap Dancing" instead.
Ray thought the lederhosen weren’t on right.
Yolanda answered, "Your butt's just big." That's why it's tight.
"Where’s the dressing room? I don't have on underwear." Tyler said.
9. Joseph thought Monica looked quite sexy when doing the "Break it" chore.
Ray and Yolanda crashed their bottles, too. There's broken glass on the floor.
They had to wait for the cuckoo to sing
Before they could smash anything.
The dancers and musicians were hard to ignore.
10. Jeremy and Eric run to the Pit Stop and end up in first place.
Do the Frat Boys seem more excited about the lipstick on their face?
Then Phil asks them if there is a story to tell.
They mention tongue wrestling with Dani and Danielle.
They don't know it yet, but their favorite girls barely remain in the Race!
11. Jeremy and Eric had great timing luck every time they turned around.
And they kept up their "Casanova" antics in the air and on the ground.
At the end, wouldn't Phil be remiss
If he didn't ask about the kiss?
And "Girls get prettier the more you drink," is what the guy on the train found.
12. The Pit Stop is in Munich. They have to drive ten miles to find it.
The Hippies move ahead of Lake's team. They're second and don't mind it.
The Frat Boys win the leg and an African trip
And they still keep talking about companionship.
Fran and Barry moved up to 4th place. We saw Fran mastermind it.
13. In an interview, Desiree remarked that they were told they could keep the gnome.
But it was a reminder of pure frustration, so they didn't take it home.
No matter how this Race ends
This mom and daughter are friends.
And will Wanda speak "Spanglish" if they ever go to Rome? |
