All of the drama and fighting in this episode is caused by a poor decision a roommate made at work.

It’s opening day for Mystic Tan and the roommates and business is slow. John decides that because he got no sleep the previous day, he is going to sleep on the job. He sleeps in the storage closet out of site of all the customers. This sits well with all the workers except Paula. After a night of partying, they are driving home. Paula is drunk and says that John has a small penis and such. In response, John says Paula has a six inch waist, hasn’t eaten in a week and has scabs that are 3 years old because she never lets them heal. That statement immediately ends the fight.

After arriving home, Paula confronts Zach and Jose about the incident at work. As the managers, they talked over it and realized that allowing John to sleep on the job was not the correct thing to do. Ricky even got involved and said if it happened again the people involved would be fired. This makes Paula somewhat happy and she goes off to bed for the night.

The following day, Paula has to go to Dr. Cowan. Before leaving, she was all depressed, but when returning, she was like a changed person. A 100% improve in confidence and appearance. This guy can work wonders. While at work, John proposes a plan to Paula. His plan is that whenever he is around her drunk, problems always seem to arise. To eliminate this fact, John told Paula that he will no longer be hanging around her while she is drinking. When returning home, she calls Keith and tells him this. He convinces Paula that drinking is not good and she claims she is going to drink less/stop altogether. We shall have to see how this plays out in later episodes.
