The main thing that fuels this episode is that Janelle is upset with the work ethics of Jose, the assistant manager of Mystic Tan. She feels as if Jose is too laid back and is not doing enough work to accomplish the goals.

The episode begins with Janelle questioning Jose’s work ethics to Tyler. Tyler does not want to get involved with the situation at hand so he just agrees with everything that is being said. Jose even feels as though as assistant manager, he should be stepping up as well. However, Zach, the general manager, has been completing all the necessary tasks and shining above Jose.

Tyler’s friends come to visit. Once everyone is acquainted, a giant food fight ensues. Chocolate sauce, eggs and paper towels were thrown around the house. Janelle was even thrown into the hot tub with her clothes on. The crew goes out for a night of partying, and surprisingly, Paula has nothing to drink.

After returning from the break, a giant fight breaks out between Janelle and Jose. It was not about work however. Janelle was rushing everyone to get home since they had work in the morning. This did not sit well with Jose who immediately told her he would walk as fast or as slow as he pleased. From there, Tyler had to intervene to keep the two separated.

The following morning is grand opening day for Mystic Tan. Duval Street is closed off so that the Key West Marching Band can come and play outside the shop. Also, a picnic atmosphere was in place as subway was given to all their clients. Also, $5 from every tan was donated to AIDS research. Ad the end of the day, the roommates made well over $1000 in gross sales. This outcome pleased Janelle and she seems to be over her thoughts of Jose’s work ethic. Who knows how that will turn out…. I guess we will have to watch and see.

On a side note, Tyler made a funny comment that actually had me laughing. He said that Janelle was a diva, like Mariah Carey, who thinks people are listening, but in reality nobody is.
