As Ryan hears that Melinda would rather be home with Danny than competing in the challenge, he worries what will come of the sentimental blonde.

The challenge is a “prison break” as teammates try and wrestle themselves out of shackles, not to mention a jail cell. In order to retrieve the keys to unlock themselves, they must mouth their way through piles of slop. Most teams find their keys quickly, except for Coral and Evan who decide that they will allow another duo to win this competition. They come in last, while Theo and Chanda work their way up and come in first place. Melinda and Ryan and Wes and Casey are essentially sent into exile. During the exile, Wes and Casey quickly move ahead but fail to interrupt the puzzle, adding costly weight and time to their mission. Fortunately, because Melinda and Ryan forget one of their flags, the dynamic duo wins another exile and goes back to compete, sending Melinda and Ryan packing. At least Danny will be happy.
