Tonya discusses with unmotivated partner Johnnie on how to work better as a pair. Her pep talk proves to be successful as the two are triumphant in the challenge.

The challenge consists of the teammates passing one another twenty-five feet above the water. Although the mission seems precarious (they castmates perform it without a harness,) most make it across without a scratch. Although Tonya and Johnnie work well together, Theo and his partner come up victorious. Tonya is not out of the picture yet; she is upset to learn that she has been voted into exile, although she is ahead of Tina and her partner. She discusses her anger with Derrick, he states that he could do nothing to overturn the wishes of the team.
