Karlyn's mouth has been an open spigot of stormy opinion ever since The Amazing Race 10 set sail. From the beginning she was openly suggestive about the tentative nature of her loyalty within the Six-Pack alliance and her near hostility towards their collective subservience towards one another — this all the while fellow alliance members David & Mary, and the Cho brothers, were sacrificing their precious time and efforts to keep Lyn & Karlyn humming along nicely above the turmoil.

Karlyn, while vocally fragmenting her alliance, also made fast enemies of Dustin & Kandance and Tyler & James. (Rob & Kimberly, it seems, are merely strangers along the periphery.) Of these two teams, of course, Dustin & Kandance have fondly fanned Karlyn's wrath into an inferno of hate and vindictiveness. Yet I'm sure these kind of feelings are not exclusive to one side. Within this last episode in Morocco, however, Karlyn was finally outed as the crude, pedestrian demagogue we have all fancied her to be.

And as concerns Rob & Kimberly, Karyln had her own unique, and tiresome, perspective about their constant automobile vexations: "Another problem with their car... if you have trouble every time you get in the car then maybe it's you and not the car." Always the charmer, eh? (You get my point...)

After landing in Ouarzazate and locating the Antiquittes Du Sud, teams were directed to the queasy Moroccan monstrosity called the Atlas Corporation Studio — elderly, surreal movie sets rotting in the desert. Teams also found out that there was a Yield ahead. Unsurprisingly, Lyn & Karyln had the following dialogue:

Karlyn: "We need to get there first to get to this Yield..."
Lyn: "Karlyn definitely wants to Yield the Barbies..."
Karlyn: "We've been trying to slow them up since the beginning of the Race."
Lyn: "What goes around comes around!"

At fate would have it, Dustin & Kandance arrived at the Yield platform first. Unsurprisingly, they Yielded their favorite team. Kandance said, rather astutely, "If we didn't do this right now... we wouldn't be playing our best game." Sounds fairly logical in a purely gaming sense. But...

Karlyn took it hard. Like it was a shock or something. Like David & Mary had somehow, finally, drove off without them... or Erwin & Godwin had actually done some single Amazing Race maneuver without thinking about their welfare. Like Dustin & Kandance would suddenly — POOF! — become sisters-in-arms for no good reason. Like she expected a Six-Pack alliance get-out-of-jail card from her sworn enemies. Like the world should revolve around her, thank you.
