Only one will win… the other two -- -- not so much.

Tuesday night the three finalist performed once again for America’s vote.
Before they began, former finalists Grandma and Norton--to name a few, surprised the audience. Each was given the opportunity to perform. Then, it was time for the final three to throw it down one last time to earn America’s vote.

Thursday the fate of the three comics was decided. Last season’s winner Dat Phan did a set, which involved some of the film projects he’s been doing since winning the title. Then, Jay announced that each finalist would have the chance to do one final set. Once Alonzo, Gary, and John performed the results were announced. The second runner up was Gary Gulman and winning a contract with NBC, a stand up special on Comedy Central, and the chance to perform Friday night on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno was John Heffron. After John finished his enthusiastic clapping, Jay called out all the comics from Season 1 and 2.

The premise behind Season 3 was revealed. The comics from Season 1 would attle it out with those from Season 2 to determine who is the best—who ould be the last comic standing. Tune in on Monday, August 30 for a review of Season 3. If it is anything like this past Season, there is sure to be one surprise after another.
