Kids, this isn’t going to be much of a judgment this week. I’m home with the flu and can barely bring myself to sit-up. I can also barely bring myself to care about the teams this season. Seeing as locations are so amazing on season six, it would have been nice to cast teams who weren’t so consistently underwhelming.

Aaron

I had a feeling this leg was going to be non-elimination. We are really supposed to be getting attached to these characters. I mean, obviously. Production never lets anyone get too far ahead. There are only two fast Forwards the whole race and each leg there is a bunch-up point, evening out the playing field again. That’s all nice once in awhile, but where is the edge-of-your-seat excitement if all the teams are always together.

And oh the teams. Seriously, I don’t know where to start so I am gonna just break it down so I can get back into bed. The “model alliance” needs to go. It is led by two nasty and not-so-bright women and the men who let them and gives models/actor types everywhere a worse name than they already have. See ya. And Jonathan and Victoria. I am still surprised that these two were allowed to stay on by production. They are vile, horrible people. He is delusional and abusive. Crazy and woman-hating. I guarantee he has serious mother issues. TAR should help pay for his counseling as well as the counseling of all the viewers scared by his treatment of his wife. And she is as shrill and unlikable as him. They don’t belong in the Top 3 and they know it. Jonathan even said, “We don’t deserve to win.” Truer words never spoken.

And that leaves, by default, my choice for Top 3. Lori and Bolo, because no matter how pumped and dumb they are (or are portrayed) they are not hateful. Adam and Rebecca because their manic dysfunction reminds me of Arianne and me when we were younger. And they make me laugh. Lastly, Kris and Jon. Yes, they are a snore. But they are nice to each other and everyone else. On a season when one team is more nasty and hateful then the next, this team is like a breath of fresh air at a shit factory. They deserve to win, based solely on the respect, love and support they give to one another. Not how exciting they are.

I don’t know kids. Maybe I’m grumpy because I have the flu. Or maybe after the exceptional season 5, this current crop of contestants just doesn’t hold up. All I know is go do a Google image search on “Victoria Fuller.” See why this ex-playmate has been the butt, boobs and other various parts of all my jokes these days. Yikes. I will be the judge of that…and everything else.
