So this Episode is by far one of my least favorite Philly Episodes yet but I shall try and make this good. The show opens with Melanie telling Landon and MJ that she has discovered her body is covered with bumps that look like some kind of funky cross between acne and the chicken pox EWWW.

And goes into such unnecessary detail that she tells them that the bumps have formed a ring around her nipple, Come on now Melanie Is all that information really necessary? I think not! Everyone assumes that it is some sort of strange allergic reaction to the weeds they have been pulling at work on the playground. Melanie decides that this requires some medical attention and goes to the Doctor where she is diagnosed with Scabies in other words…Body Lice. So Mel goes home to find Landon and MJ chillin in the hot tub. When they see her they start pushing for information and she keeps saying “It’s gross It’s SOOO Gross” Finally she brakes the news to them and the jokes begin. Let us leave scabies for a bit now I’m getting itchy and feel the need for a shower just thinking about it.

All the Roomies go to work where Anthony tells them that the time has come for them to put together a presentation for the Soul bigwigs. The presentation will need to cover the work they have done thus far and where they intend to go with the playground project. Landon immediately goes into overdrive and tries to take charge of everything saying that this is his passion and that he takes it very seriously and does not want to see it flop. Sarah gets all bent out of shape when Landon and his bossy attitude toward the whole job come out in full force.

Back to the bugs for a bit. While the groups is at work Melanie calls the doctor to set up a time for him to come over to the house and talk to everyone about what to do to keep themselves scabies free. Once the group is home the scabies jokes continue and Willie actually shows himself in an episode (surprise surprise) and says that he has major issues with germs and especially things like this. The Roomies start cleaning and disinfecting the house from top to bottom while Landon and MJ throw Pillows at each other yelling “SCABIES!!!” Shavonda narrates that this is really a blessing because the house was gross and needed a good scrubbing anyway and that if she got scabies she “would Just DIE“. Way to over dramatize there Shavonda!! That night the Doctor comes to the house and checks everyone to see if the little buggers have found homes in anyone other then Mel. He gives everyone a clean bill of health but says for precaution they will all be treated as if they have it. So all the roomies are given some gross sticky medicine they need to wash with and head to the bathroom. In the bathroom trying to figure out what to do with the meds that the doctor left for them. As Landon reads the paper telling them what to do Melanie continually interrupts telling everyone saying that the instructions the doctor gave everyone iare not what they are really supposed to do. Personally makes me wonder if that house will every be scabies free, but anyway MJ, Landon and Shavonda go out later and discuss the fact that Melanie’s personality annoys them. Shavonda says that everything Mel seems to say comes right in the middle of something that she is trying to say. And Landon notes that Melanie likes to talk like she is an expert on every topic that comes up.
