<img align=left alt="Kinsey" border=0 hspace=6 src=http://realityreel.com/images/kinsey.gif> Kinsey - Synopsis: Liam Neeson stars as Kinsey, who in 1948 irrevocably changed American culture and created a media sensation with his book Sexual Behavior in the Human Male. Asking thousands of people about the most intimate aspects of their lives, Kinsey lifted the weight of doubt and shame from a society in which sex was hidden, and knowledge was dangerous.

Two particularly interesting extra features on the DVD are:

"The Kinsey Report: Sex On Film" - This is a feature length documentary (80-90 minutes) that covers the long,
controversial journey of this film to the screen. The doc also addresses the real subjects of sex research and Alfred Kinsey. There are interviews with cast and crew and several people from The Kinsey Institute. Also included in this doc are on camera sex histories with several members of the cast and crew!

"Interactive Sex Questionnaire" - This is based on a current Sex Study being done by researchers at The Kinsey Institute. The questionnaire evaluates the viewer in two areas: excitation and inhibition. It is a set-top experience (no web links needed) that scores viewers in these two areas and shows them how they compare with the thousands of people who have participated in the real study.

The Kinsey two-disc Special Edition DVD ($34.98) offers a tempting abundance of bonus features including a full-length feature commentary by writer / director Bill Condon, “The Kinsey Report” featurette, deleted scenes with optional commentary by Bill Condon, a gag reel, an interactive sex feature and the original theatrical trailer. The single-disc DVD ($27.98) is presented on a flipper disc, containing widescreen (2.35:1) and pan and scan with English Dolby Digital 5.1 and Spanish Dolby Surround.
